The Utes finished the 2015-16 season with a record of 27-9 after their second round NCAA tournament loss to Gonzaga. Sophomore Jakob Poeltl will likely enter the NBA Draft, but Utah should still be a factor in the Pac 12 next year after finishing second this season.

UPDATE: Matt Velazquez did some legwork on the topic. Marquette says there's nothing to confirm at this point and word out of Salt Lake City is that MU and Utah "aren't on the same page."
