For the first time since 2012, YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles will have a player drafted in the NBA Draft, and we’re here to bring you all the coverage that you can shake a stick at.

But first, the fine details of how you can watch all the excitement from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

What: 2016 NBA Draft

When: Thursday, June 23, 2016, at 6pm Central

TV: ESPN

Streaming: WatchESPN will carry the ESPN broadcast of the full draft, while TheVertical.com will broadcast a draft show covering the first round only hosted by Chris Mannix and Indiana head coach Tom Crean. That Vertical show has the potential to be amazing, as it’ll feature reports from The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, who will assuredly be breaking news on trades and picks long before ESPN announces them.

We know that former Marquette forward Henry Ellenson will be selected at some point tonight, and we know that he’s in the green room at the Barclays Center. That added bit of info lets us know that there’s a consensus amongst the 30 NBA teams that Ellenson is expected to be a lottery pick.

The question from there is where does he end up? He worked out for six teams, and those teams have picks in the first round anywhere from #2 (Los Angeles Lakers) to #28 (Phoenix Suns). Of course, not working out for a team isn’t a barrier to selecting a player. The other major thing to consider is the possibility of trades. With Boston (#3, #16, #23), Denver (#7, #15, #19), and Phoenix (#4, #13, #28) all holding three first round picks, the possibility of at least one of those teams packaging multiple picks in order to move up to grab a player is very high. If picks suddenly change hands during the draft, it can throw the whole concept of "best player available" out of whack when a team suddenly takes someone higher than they may have been slotted to do so.

In short, this could be a completely bananas draft, so keep it tuned here for all the latest news when it comes to both Henry Ellenson, other players coming out of the Big East, and the NBA Draft in general. We’ll update throughout the night as needed.....

1:01pm: If you need something to keep you busy til draft time, be sure to check out our most recent look at all the mock drafts.  Keep in mind that was put together on Tuesday, and a lot of mocks have been updated since then, most notably Draft Express, which has Ellenson going #20 overall to the Indiana Pacers.

1:11pm: So, right before this published, the Pacers traded that #20 pick to the Nets.

6:33pm:

SAY WHAAAAAAAAAT.

6:41pm: We're off and running with Ben Simmons going #1 overall to the 76ers.  I wonder if Henry trash talked Simmons about beating him at the Barclays Center in November.

6:44pm: Brandon Ingram goes #2 to the Lakers.  Now things are going to get very weird very fast, and if the Celtics have dealt the #3 pick, that's just going to make it even weirder even faster.

7:07pm: Kris Dunn goes #5 to the Timberwolves after Minnesota turned down a Jimmy Butler for Zach LaVine & the #5 pick.  Yeah.  I know, right?  Remember that Tom Thibodeau, the former Bulls coach, is now running the show for the TWolves.

7:26pm:

7:37pm: ESPN's not talking about Thon Maker to the Bucks at 10 or Domantas Sabonis to the Magic at 11, but Henry Ellenson is still Jay Bilas' best player available going forward.

7:57pm:

Not quite #DoneDeal.

8:04pm:

Like I said, not quite.
