Mavericks 81, Bucks 64 - After a tightly contested first half, Dallas blew this one open with a 24-8 advantage in the third quarter. Milwaukee shot just 30.1% in the third frame as the Mavs led by as many as 25 at one point. 2016 Bucks draft pick Thon Maker was the high scorer for the game with 17 points, which included going 2-6 from three point range. I guess it’s open season on everyone feeling free to shoot three pointers now, although Maker hit the magic efficiency number of 33.3%, so maybe that’s not so bad.

Vander Blue was Dallas’ second leading scorer in the game, getting 12 points in 21 minutes off the bench. He had to shoot 4-12 to get there, although going 2-4 from distance is pretty great. Blue also grabbed six rebounds as the Mavericks advanced to the second round of the Vegas Summer League championship tournament.
