The #6 seeded Golden Eagles Alumni are seeded sixth in the Midwest, and they’ll be squaring off with the seventh seeded team, Armored Athlete. Let’s get to the details on the game!

That game will be the third of four games being playing in Philly on Friday. Action starts early in the afternoon with the broadcast coming on ESPN3 and WatchESPN for the first two games before switching to ESPN2 and WatchESPN for the nighttime pair. Here’s the full schedule for the day, with all times Central:
1pm: West Semifinal - #1 Team 23 vs #5 Team Colorado
3pm: West Semifinal - #3 Few Good Men vs #7 Team Utah
6pm: Midwest Semifinal - #6 Golden Eagles Alumni vs #7 Armored Athlete
8pm: Midwest Semifinal - #5 Pedro’s Posse vs #9 Always A Brave
Let’s circle back to the game involving your favorite bunch of Golden Eagles. Here’s the listed roster for GEA:
- Maurice Acker
- Dwight Burke
- Dwight Buycks
- Joe Chapman
- Davante Gardner
- Marcus Jackson
- Darius Johnson-Odom
- Trent Lockett
- Jerel McNeal
- Jamil Wilson
- Derrick Wilson
Davante Gardner had to miss the first weekend because of a tryout for a Korean league team, but he’s expected to make his TBT debut on Friday. Jamil Wilson joined for game #2 and had an outstanding game, particularly behind the three point line. Trent Lockett still hasn’t appeared for GEA, but he is still listed on the roster so he is eligible to play if he’s suddenly available like Gardner.
Let’s turn our attention to Armored Athlete and their roster.
- Will Clyburn
- David Dudzinski
- Jordan Hulls
- Dario Hunt
- Roosevelt Jones
- Malcolm Miller
- Jonathan Octeus
- Will Sheehey
- Isaiah Swann
- Vernon Taylor
- Christian Watford
Armored Athlete advanced to the Midwest Regional Championship game a year ago, although they had former New Mexico center Alex Kirk on the roster at the time. They’ve still got the core of their roster - Hulls, Sheehey, Watford, Miller, and Dudzinski were all here a year ago - so while they aren’t an alumni squad like GEA, they’re still very familiar with each other.
They’ve got some new additions, too, but the most notable one is Roosevelt Jones. Yes, that’s right, Golden Eagles Alumni will be playing against the former Butler star who you might remember from hitting his only college career three pointer from 70 feet against Marquette in the Bradley Center.
