Magic Blue 96, Dallas 94 - A pair of free throws from Nick Johnson with less than four seconds left gave Orlando a 96-92 lead which would be enough to hold on for the win after a whacky sequence after that.

The Mavs called timeout after that to advance the ball and Tyler Honeycutt scored on an alley oop dunk. That made it a two point game with just 0.7 seconds running off the clock. Orlando ended up coughing the ball up with less than two seconds to play, but Casey Prather ran out of time before he could collect the ball and get a game tying or winning shot off.

Vander Blue had a team high 17 points for Dallas in the losing effort as they fell to 1-3. He went 4-12 from the floor in the game, but was a stellar 3-5 from behind the arc. Blue also contributed three rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Pistons 71, Heat 58 - Here’s a pro tip for you, if you’re ever planning on playing basketball: If you go down 17-8 after the first 10 minutes, don’t lose the next 10 minutes by a score of 20-12. You just end up totally hosed.

Stanley Johnson went for a game high 20 points as Detroit never trailed and led by as many as 25 in the second half. Your man Henry Ellenson started and played 26 minutes, but had a quiet offensive day, making just one of five shots, with all four misses coming from long range. He added two free throws to get to four points total, and added six rebounds as well.

The Pistons are 4-0 and will play Orlando White for the Orlando Summer League championship on Friday.
