This morning and early afternoon is LOADED with basketball games! As great as that is, it’s what happens when the television partners are intentionally avoiding putting content up against the NFL playoffs. THANKS FOR NOTHING, NFL.
Still, though, there’s 16 ranked teams in action today in a game that’s nationally broadcast, and there’s four games that feature ranked opponents going head to head. There’s one right off the top of the day with Duke visiting Louisville, and one right at the end of the day with the first meeting of the year between Gonzaga and St. Mary’s. In between we get #1 Baylor trying to salvage their week after losing at West Virginia not to mention Butler hosting Xavier. [looks at Marquette’s schedule] If y’all want to play 17 overtimes, that’s fine by me.
As always, there’s a bunch of stuff happening on the digital only feeds, so be sure to pipe up in the comments if you find something that grabs your attention.
