Georgetown is your regular season champs, finishing with a record of 6-1-2 in league action and a total of 20 points. They barely edged out Butler, who grabbed 19 points on a record of 5-0-4 and the second bye to the semifinals thanks to this casual golden goal from Paige Monaghan:

Both Georgetown and Butler will wait at home until November 2nd, when both will host a semifinal match against one of the first round winners. Both first round matches will be this coming Sunday, October 29th, with #4 Marquette hosting #5 Xavier and #3 Providence hosting #6 DePaul The MU/XU winner will head to Washington, D.C. to face the Hoyas on the 2nd, while the PC/DPU victor heads to Indianapolis for a showdown with the Bulldogs. All of the first round and semifinal matches will be streamed by the Big East Digital Network on Fox Sports Go.

The winners of the semifinals will advance to the tournament’s title game on Sunday, November 5th, which will be broadcast live on FS1. The location of the title game is still up for grabs, as it will be hosted by whichever of the two teams in the match that has the best seed. For example: Marquette is a HUGE DePaul fan right now, because if the Golden Eagles advance to the title game, they will host the match at Valley Fields if and only if DePaul is their opponent. Butler can only host the title match if Marquette or Xavier pulls the semifinal upset of Georgetown, and so on and so forth. You get the idea.

Marquette’s first round match against Xavier will kick off at 1pm Central time at Valley Fields. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Marquette Ticket Office at 414-288-GOMU (4668) or at the main gate when you arrive on Sunday.
