Your College Football Saturday Viewing Guide: November 11, 2017

All eyes are on the SEC today.

NCAA Football: Wyoming at Iowa Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

All due respect to the ACC and their affiliate member, and all due respect to the Big 12, but the two biggest games of the day are taking place in the SEC.

First, at 2:30pm, #1 Georgia takes their top ranking on the road to #10 Auburn. Want to stay at #1, or hell, want to stay in the playoff? Just go beat a top 10 team in their building. No big. After that wraps up, #2 Alabama finds themselves on the road as well, making the trip 90 miles west to face off with #16 Mississippi State. No matter who wins those two contests, they’re going to have a major impact on this year’s playoff matchups.

ELSEWHERE, Notre Dame visits Miami for the first time since 1989. That’s kind of a big deal, and the fact that the two teams are #3 and #7 respectively only adds a nice ganache of drama to the proceedings. Then there’s the #6 TCU at #5 Oklahoma game, which, unfortunately for you the neutral observer, is going to be on at the same time as ND/UM. That’s just not fair.

There’s a whole mess of other games on today, and that’s without even mentioning the basketball game between Notre Dame and DePaul that’s going on somewhere in all of this. Keep your clicker finger warmed up.

And now, your schedule of what you’re doing today.
