We get the #1 seed vs the #6 seed in the Big East tournament championship game this evening, just like everyone expected.
Villanova escaped Seton Hall, 55-53, when Josh Hart had a late putback and Angel Delgado missed on the other end and, miracle of miracles, couldn’t come up with the offensive rebound for the stickback.
JOSH HART in the CLUTH for @NovaMBB.

As if that wasn’t a bananas enough finish to a basketball game, Creighton and Xavier had a wild final 30 seconds. Trevon Bluiett gave the Musketeers a very late lead, but Marcus Foster was having none of that nonsense, and J.P. Macura was unable to answer.
Trevon Bluiett stepback for the tie, Marcus Foster for the lead, JP Macura NO.

So now we get Wildcats vs Bluejays at the Garden to wrap things up. Should be a pretty good game, I think. Sure, Villanova had two double-digit wins over Creighton in the regular season, but it’s the Big East Tournament and Madison Square Garden. There’s something special about it.
I’m just going to leave this here to wrap up because it’s funny:
