NCAA Womens Basketball: Big East Conference Tournament-Marquette vs DePaul
Can Marquette capture a second straight tournament title?

The 2017-18 women’s basketball regular season is over, and thus, the Big East tournament bracket is set!

The whole shebang takes place March 3-6 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. After a year’s sabbatical in Milwaukee and being hosted by Marquette, the conference tournament returns to Chicago under the careful guidance of DePaul in their brand new fancy downtown arena. Marquette is the defending champion, and thanks to a tiebreaker, they earned the #1 seed this year over co-regular season champion DePaul. The Golden Eagles and the Blue Demons split their season series, and they both lost to Georgetown as well. Marquette took a home loss against Creighton, while DePaul ended up with a road loss against Villanova to end up causing the tie at 15-3. The point is that neither of the co-favorites are impervious to an out of character loss, especially in a “three games in three days” format.

What follows is the schedule as we know it as up to the minute as possible. We’ll be updating as the tournament gets started and rolling next week. The first round will be streamed for free via the Big East Digital Network on Fox Sports Go. The remaining seven games will also be streamed on Fox Sports Go, but are subject to your cable provider’s restrictions. All times Central.
