2018 NCAA Tournament First Round Day 1 Viewing Guide & Open Thread

WHO’S READY FOR THE FIRST DAY OF BASKETBALL CHRISTMAS?!? IT’S HERE!

With a Big East trained eye on the festivities, there are two games of import to the league, with Seton Hall and Villanova in action. Both Big East teams are favored, although SHU’s contest is a bit more of a coin toss than Villanova’s is.

I think the highlights of the day are pretty obvious. In chronological order:

1. Trae Young and Oklahoma are in action in the very first game of the day.
2. Penn and their 11% chance (according to KenPom) take on Kansas.
3. BLERS FEVER, CATCH IT!
4. MIKE DAUM!
5. Wildcat on Wildcat violence in Kentucky vs Davidson.
6. The #WojBomb Tour continues with St. Bonaventure in action.

Of course, this is the NCAA tournament, so we’re bound to get some kind of insanity elsewhere on the slate, so make sure your channel flipping thumb is properly stretched out.
