The whole shebang takes place March 7-10 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which is hosting the tournament for the 36th consecutive season.
Xavier finished with a record of 15-3 in league play and earned the #1 seed in the tournament, making them the favorite as tournament play begins. Marquette finished tied for sixth place with Butler at 9-9 in conference action, but because the Bulldogs swept the season series, the Golden Eagles are the #7 seed. They’ll begin play against #10 seed DePaul on Wednesday night at 8:30pm Central time. If Marquette wins, they’ll play #2 seed Villanova on Thursday evening in the quarterfinals.
What follows is the schedule as we know it. This will get edited as the tournament progresses, so be sure to bookmark this page and come back to it as needed. The first three rounds of the tournament will all be broadcast on FS1 and streamed on Fox Sports Go, while Saturday’s championship game will be on Fox as well as streamed on Fox Sports go.
