Oh, is it May? That must mean it’s time for Marquette men’s basketball to extend another scholarship offer. In this case, it’s to Class of 2019 forward Seth Lundy.

Lundy is listed as a 6’6”, 195 pound small forward by 247 Sports. Their Composite system has him as a four star prospect coming out of Philadelphia, where he’s the #113 player in the country and the #4 player in the state of Pennsylvania. Marquette is the second high major offer he’s picked up this week, along with Ole Miss and Kermit Davis extending an offer. Lundy already has offers from Florida, Oregon, Penn State, Seton Hall, and Temple, as well as interest from Michigan and Villanova.
Lundy attends Roman Catholic High School in Philly, where they recently won their third state title in four years. He scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the 92-80 victory. Here’s a highlight package from that game, with Lundy wearing #23 in black.
You can also check out this Hudl page for more highlight reels for Lundy.
As mentioned above, Lundy is a Class of 2019 recruit. His offer comes quickly on the heels of Marquette making the final six for top 30 prospect Jalen Wilson. Between these two wing offers and the plethora of point/lead guard offers that are out there, I think we can easily determine what Steve Wojciechowski’s priorities are for this particular recruiting class. This is important to note, as MU currently projects to only have two scholarships available in the fall of 2019.
Here’s the scholarship chart as it stands right now.
