Thanks to a terrific broadcast from the Big East office by John Fanta, the 2018-19 Marquette men’s basketball conference schedule is officially out.
Here’s the big items to know:
- The first Big East team to come to Fiserv Forum? Xavier on Sunday, January 6.
- National Marquette Day? If tradition holds, and it’s celebrated on the last Saturday home game that’s not Senior Day, then..... that will be against Villanova on Saturday, February 9....... with a broadcast on big fancy broadcast Fox. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30pm.
- That Nova game is one of four league games that will be broadcast on Fox, and Marquette gets a fifth appearance on Fox when they host Wisconsin at Fiserv Forum on Saturday, December 8th. Tipoff is schedule for 4pm Central, so plan your day carefully.
- Marquette has three games in the entire season, including the non-conference schedule, set for Fox Sports Wisconsin and/or your local Fox Sports affiliate. There are three games set for CBS Sports Network, all in league play. Two of them are at home.
Here’s the schedule! Whaddya think?
