In case you missed it — and if you did because you turned it off with 0.8 seconds left to play, I don’t blame you — Markus Howard torched Creighton for 53 points on Wednesday night, including 14 in overtime as #21 ranked Marquette swiped away a victory from the jaws of defeat in Omaha after a miracle buzzer beater by Sam Hauser.
As you might expect, a lot of people all over the place said a whole hell of a lot in praise of Howard and the Golden Eagles. What’s the point of having an internet website if you don’t use it to collect said praise into one tidy location?
Aaaaaaand here we go.
Markus Howard is like a video game. Damn.

An amazing game on CBS Sports Network right now. I’m pretty sure Markus Howard has tapped into the cosmos because THIS IS NOT OF THIS WORLD.

This Marquette-Creighton game is all the bananas at the grocery store plus a few of the ones they have at the counter when you check out at Circle K. So much damn fun.

Markus Howard *tied* his career-high with 52 points. He's six months younger than Trae Young.

Are you kidding?!

Why didn’t Marquette hit the cheat code button with ten minutes left in the game?
— Rumble In The Garden (@rumbleSBN) January 10, 2019
Markus Howard is amazing. He can have the BE Player of the Week Award this week, because he has the other 12 Golden Eagles on his back.
At the end of Infinity War, Nick Fury meant to call Markus Howard

The T worked ... HOLY SHI&@&&-&;&&/-$?!?- #mubb
— CrackedSidewalks (@CrackedSidewlks) January 10, 2019
Oh, hey, that’s right, Wojo got T’d up in the second half and Creighton split the free throws. Imagine what happens in this game if Wojo doesn’t get the T. Or if the refs don’t review Joey Hauser’s three-pointer?
Wild game between @MarquetteMBB and @BluejayMBB! Marquette scores 5 points in final 3 seconds to tie game, then wins in overtime behind 53 from Markus Howard.
