Your College Basketball Saturday Viewing Guide: February 23, 2019

We start the day off with Marquette in action, and then there’s 32 more games on national television.

NCAA Basketball: Big Ten Conference Tournament-Northwestern vs Rutgers Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Well, with Marquette outside the top 10 this week, we need to keep an eye on who is in the top 10 to see if the Golden Eagles can slip back into that rarified air.

Here’s the full anti-top 10 cheering guide for today, no matter where the game is being broadcast:

Syracuse vs #1 Duke
BYU at #2 Gonzaga
#18 Louisville vs #3 Virginia
Auburn at #4 Kentucky
#13 LSU vs #5 Tennessee
Fresno State at #6 Nevada
#16 Florida State at #8 North Carolina
South Florida at #9 Houston

Wow, that’s a lot of hoops. The only AP top 10 teams not in action today are #7 Michigan and #10 Michigan State, and they play each other tomorrow afternoon on CBS.

We’ve got nine ranked teams, including Marquette, on the road today out of 14 nationally televised games involving ranked teams. That’s a pretty heavy tilt in one direction, so the math of the situation dictates that we’re going to get at least one and probably two or three of those teams taking a loss. This is made more likely by the fact that three of those game involve a ranked team as the host. To that end, we can debate what’s the biggest national TV game of the day: #5 Tennessee at #13 LSU, #16 Florida State at #8 North Carolina, or #12 Kansas at #14 Texas Tech?

Here’s your full rundown for national television today! Enjoy!
