Your College Basketball Saturday Viewing Guide: March 2, 2019

blah blah blah march whatever

NCAA Basketball: Nebraska at Penn State
Matthew O’Haren-USA TODAY Sports

First things first: Your Top 10 Loss Watch for the day:

Saint Mary’s vs #1 Gonzaga
Pittsburgh at #2 Virginia
Miami at #3 Duke
Clemson vs #5 North Carolina
Indiana vs #6 Michigan State
UCF Knights at #8 Houston Cougars

There’s also #4 Kentucky visiting #7 Tennessee going on today, but that’s a guaranteed loss for a top 10 team, on top of being the biggest game of the day.

All told there’s 16 games on national television today that involve at least one ranked team. As you can probably guess, that means there’s not a lot of games between two ranked teams. The Kentucky/Tennessee game is the only one, in fact. However, counting the Wildcats, there are eight ranked teams playing on the road on national TV today, so that sends the chances of everyone getting to see some kind of wild upset ratcheting up a bit.

Please keep your eyes on the Big 12 today. Kansas and Texas Tech are both on the road, while Kansas State is at home. Kansas is running out of time to earn at least a share of their 15th straight conference title, and need losses by the Red Raiders and the Wildcats very soon if not immediately. Kansas Devil Magic is a real thing, as far as I can tell, so buckle up.

Here’s your national television schedule for the day! Enjoy!
