2019 Championship “Week” Update: March 7

HOLY CRAP THE BASKETBALLS.

The A-Sun, Big South, Ohio Valley, and Patriot League all return to our lives today, which is nice. To make it even better, the Big South gives us our first instance of DAYTIME BASKETBALL~! of Championship “Week,” so all is right with the world.

In addition to those leagues continuing their tournaments, we get the start of the MAAC, Missouri Valley, and WCC tournaments! It’s all night games (or very late night games in the WCC’s case) over in those leagues, though, so we’ll all just have to manage our time well to keep an eye on everything that’s happening.

Since he’s in the picture at the top of the page, I would highly suggest making time to watch Chris Clemons and Campbell play this evening in the Big South quarterfinals. He’s averaging 30/5/3, and the last time he played Hampton, he hung 48 on them while shooting 11-for-21 from the field and 22-for-24 from the stripe. You know you wanna see it.
