2019 Championship “Week” Update: March 9th

GET EXCITED, Y’ALL. WE’VE GOT A BID BEING HANDED OUT TODAY!

We’ve got Rick Byrd’s Belmont squad attempting to cash in their #1 seed in the Ohio Valley tournament against Ja Morant and #2 seeded Murray State. It’s the first NCAA tournament bid that will be handed out, which is always super fun. That’s coming up tonight on ESPN2.

In additon to all of that, we have the start of the America East tournament, and we here at AE are big fans of the AE tournament. There’s also the start of the Summit League tournament, which features Mike Daum and South Dakota State, which isn’t too bad, either. The CAA gets started, too, but I don’t have anything superlative to say about them. The MAAC, MVC, NEC, SoCon, and WCC continue their tourneys today, so there’s no shortage of tournament action going on in addition to all of the regular season stuff going on today.
