We continue to inch closer to the beginning of the 2019 edition of The Basketball Tournament. Schedules are out, rosters are out, brackets are announced, etc.
On Tuesday, we got a new piece of the puzzle, as TBT revealed the uniforms for all 64 entrants in this year’s field. You can run over to their website to look at all 64 kits, but of course, here we’re primarily concerned with the uniforms for Golden Eagles, the Marquette alumni team.
So here’s the image that TBT gave us:

That’s Marquette’s jersey over there on the left.
It’s fine. It’s not as cool as last year’s setup, and I’d argue that this is the worst of Marquette’s four TBT uniforms. It’s fine, someone has to be last.
However, you’ll notice that’s only the jersey. A few minutes after TBT put out the release with one of the jerseys, Marquette’s men’s basketball Twitter account followed up with a look at the white version as well as a peek at what the shorts for both sets look like.

Ok, now that is nice. I’m not sure which wing look on the shorts I prefer, because they both look really cool.
#1 regional seed Golden Eagles is set to take on #8 Fort Hood Wounded Warriors on Friday July 26th at Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas. Tip-off is set for 6pm Central and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3. The rest of TBT gets started the week before on Friday, July 19, with games in the afternoon on ESPN3.
