Your College Basketball Viewing Guide: January 11, 2020

Woaaaaaaah Nellie, we’ve got 33 games on national TV, and that doesn’t count Pac-12 Network.

THERE’S SO MUCH BASKETBALL TO WATCH TODAY! Finally, football has gotten the hell out of the way and allowed us to download God’s Favorite Sport directly into our brains.

Obviously, the biggest game of the day on national television today is #4 Baylor at #3 Kansas. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but Bill Self and Scott Drew have roughly the same number of losses at Allen Fieldhouse, and one of those men coaches there about 20 times a year. If Kansas wants to return to the top of the Big 12 after failing last year for the first time in who knows how long, knocking off the Bears is a big way to get that done.

The next biggest game on the docket is also out of the Big 12, with #22 Texas Tech going up to Morgantown to see #17 West Virginia this evening. These are the only 1-loss teams in the Big 12 right now, as everyone else is either 2-0 or 0-2, so there’s a sizable amount of standings jockeying at stake in this one.

In addition to those two, we’ve got two more ranked teams on the road today, and watching ranked teams on the road is always important. #11 Ohio State visit Indiana right off the top of the schedule today, while #13 Louisville making the trip to South Bend for a showdown with Notre Dame is in the early afternoon window. I’d say both road teams are probably favored in both games, but weirder things have happened.

Here’s your full national television rundown for the day, with all times Central as always. Please feel free to pipe up in the comments with various streaming only options if they get interesting as the day goes on....
