Your College Basketball Saturday Viewing Guide: February 15, 2020

I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine’s Day, because we have a lot of basketball to watch today.

There are, amazingly enough, no college basketball games on national television today with two ranked teams facing each other. There is one game that fits that description being played today: #14 West Virginia at #1 Baylor. However, that game is on ESPN+, and this is a national television schedule viewing guide only.

I suppose that #9 Maryland going on the road to face Michigan State is the best game of the day on national television then. The Spartans have dropped from the rankings at this point, but they really can’t be that far away from being ranked again. Beating the #9 team in the country would really help that entire situation out.

The Terps are one of 11 ranked teams hitting the road in a nationally televised game today. That seems to lend itself to the possibility of shenanigans. The more ranked teams on the road, the more likely that multiple ranked teams will lose on this particular Saturday. If you want to see all 11, you’re going to need some Five Hour Energy and some snacks. #2 Gonzaga visits Pepperdine and #16 Colorado visits Oregon State in the 9pm CT window. You’re going to need to get to midnight if you want to see those two games finish up. After that, you can close your evening with the second half of UC Irvine at Hawaii and before you laugh about that, please realize that the Anteaters are #112 in KenPom right now and have a two game lead in the Big West conference standings. Shouts to Collin Welp.

Here’s the full national television schedule for today, with all times Central as always.
