With the conclusion of the regular season on Monday night, the Big East has announced and released the official bracket for the 2021 Big East women’s basketball tournament. YOUR Marquette finished the year with a record of 14-4 in conference action, and that gives them the #2 seed in the field. Connecticut went 18-0 in their first season back in the Big East to earn the top spot, while Seton Hall went 12-5 to secure the #3 seed behind the Golden Eagles.

Marquette will wait til Saturday, March 6, to play their first game of the tournament. That will be in the quarterfinals round, and they’ll have to wait to find out who they’ll be playing, too. MU will get the winner of the 7/10 game between Providence and Butler on Friday afternoon. That game is set to start at 1pm Central time, and it will be streamed on FloSports. MU’s game against either the Friars or the Bulldogs will be at 5pm Central on Saturday, and it will be televised on FS2.
The entire first round on Friday will be streamed on FloSports, so hang onto that subscription for a few more days. The quarterfinals on Saturday will mostly be on FS2, with the exception of UConn’s game getting promoted to FS1. Both of Sunday’s semifinals and Monday’s championship game will be televised on FS1.
We’ll wrap up with the full schedule! All times Central, of course.
